Platinum Paws was founded in 2005 as a grooming shop and expanded to offer Mobile Grooming Services in 2014. Jennifer fell in love with Mobile grooming so much that as of 2017 has switched to be completely Mobile Grooming Only and is owned and operated by Jennifer Monge. Platinum Paws offers luxury mobile dog grooming services in Bakersfield California.

Jennifer Monge has been grooming dogs Professionally since 2000. Since then, she has worked her way up the industry after groomer school. First, she worked several years as a dog groomer. Then, after a lot of hard work was even offered to manage a brand new chain dog grooming shop but turned down so she may pursue her dreams of being her own grooming salon owner in 2005. She built her own company and became the independent owner and operator of Platinum Paws Pet Grooming Salon. Since then, she has built a reputation of reliability and professionalism in Bakersfield California.

She started offering Mobile Grooming Services in 2014 and now has fallen in love with Mobile Grooming and is Strictly only Mobile now.She is known and respected by local veterinarians and other industry professionals. Jennifer deeply cares about the welfare of the dogs she works with for and will always do what is right for the dog first and foremost. She relies on positive reinforcement when dealing with dogs. She can be counted on for dog related advice and will be honest about the situation. This dedication shows in how many long time clients she maintains.

Jennifer entered into a grooming  competition in February of 2020 and ended up placing third over all in the Rescue Round-up at Groom West Expo. She has also been continually furthering her education in the Pet grooming field by completing part of her Masters in Cat grooming this past year 2021 and will presume to complete.
